Comics are rather shy on mobile launches. Games, tunes and wallpapers are huge. The products and delivery systems have to be designed for different mobile compatibilities. iphones and google phone are exceptions, comics also work on other large format smart phones.

Interestingly, the comics content also has to be developed for this plaform which has millions of users. Recently DoCoMo‘s ‘Comix on the Go’ was launched and reached 100,000 downloads per week status. Similarly EA will launch a couple of games with ACK Media (read Amar Chitra Katha). There is also something to happen on Android soon. If one has kindle, he can gp through Amar Chitra Katha comics from itunes.
